“I’m A Celebrity” Crew Scared To Film

Gwrych Castle. No one knows who could be the figure in the window center fame.

Crew members of the British TV show, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here are scared to film the show at night as workers have reported seeing “shadowy figures” and more.

The British hit reality series changed their normal setting of the Australian outback to Abergele, North Wales; complying with pandemic-related production restrictions. Contestants this year are shacking up in the ruins of Gwrych Castle, a 200-year-old castle believed to be haunted.

A source told the Independent, “people thought they saw a figure at one of the windows a couple of nights ago — and that spot has been pretty much off-limits ever since.”

“Even staff who don’t believe in that sort of thing are reluctant to go up to some parts that were supposed to be used for running equipment and camera positions,” another person said.

The castle, built in 1810, is said to be haunted by Winifred Cochrane, Countess of Dundonald. She was a poet, landowner, and patron of the Welsh arts. She also has a grudge against her husband.

Visitors have claimed to see an angry woman in white stalking the castle’s halls.
