James Blunt Calls Paranormal Experts To Deal With Ghosts
by Roger Norquist
London, United Kingdom—
James Blunt, a 47-year-old singer, has enlisted the help of paranormal experts to help him with a ghost problem at his London pub.
Blunt bought the Fox and Pheasant in Chelsea in 2017. The pub has been standing since 1864 and the singer said he was fulfilling a dream by rescuing the locale from being sold and converted into housing. Blunt’s pub bills itself as a “Little Country Pub tucked away in a corner of Chelsea.” However, the business has had a few ghostly hiccups along the way.
Blunt believes one of the ghosts is a former regular and says the spirit always knocks over the same tankard. The ghosts have been posing a workplace hazard as the staff was “totally freaked out” by the ghostly entity.
“He appears quite regularly, knocking things about and causing hazards. A few of the staff were really freaked out when it first happened but now everyone views the ghost quite affectionately.”
Blunt went on to say, “It keeps the staff on their toes because they have to be ready to catch the falling tankard at any time. It feels ridiculous but there is really no explanation for it."
The complaints and concerns of his staff eventually caused Blunt to call Spectrum Paranormal Investigations in hopes of ridding the bar of ghosts.
"James and his team at the Fox & Pheasant called in specialists to have a look at their resident ghoul,” an insider told reporters of The Sun.
According to the insider, “As well as solving their problem, they all had a laugh, and some of it was filmed for a new project that James is working on."
