Late Bollywood Star Talking to American Upsets Indian Paranormal Experts

A claim by a Chicago-based paranormal expert, Steven Huff, has Indian paranormal researches upset. On July 21, Huff claimed he made contact with the energy of late Bollywood Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, creating an uproar in Indian Paranormal communities.
Huff said he contacted the late actor’s spirit after receiving many requests from Rajput’s fans. The American researcher went on saying this was the first time he had contacted an Indian celebrity. At the same time Sushant’s fans are still dealing with the emotions of the actor’s death, which was ruled as an apparent suicide.
In the video, uploaded July 13, Huff sits with his DIY spirit box, and “successfully” communicates with Rajput. Calling the device an “Astral Doorway,” Huff is able to talk to anyone he wants from the other side. Huff doesn’t really explain how this device works in the video but it seems spirits are able to throw words into the speaker. Some clearer then others to decipher.
Huff’s “Rajput Series” has been viewed millions of times in the past few weeks. The Indian paranormal community has condemned the video as a fake communication with the deceased actor.

“Normally, a paranormal investigator first investigates the haunted — which is a house or an object. It’s not about powers to summon an entity or a ghost. A ghost would not leave the periphery of the house or object if it is emotionally attached to it. So summoning is not acceptable,” paranormal researcher Shishir Thakur told press in a statement.
Devraj Sanyal, founder of Detectives of Supernatural Activities in Kolkata, said, “That’s possible only when someone close to the deceased person calls him/her. A layman who has never interacted with the dead person can’t just call his spirit. Moreover, it needs to be done within the same vicinity for any chance to ‘call’ the spirit. Steve Huff did this investigation in a different country while the actor died in India.”
Sanyal went on condemning the act, “This is distinctly not possible. There was no one with him who was close to Sushant. Why would a spirit come and talk to a stranger?”
