Russians Claim To Find Evidence Of Life In Meteorite.

The Orgueil Meteor.

Russian astronomers announced they have images of fossils from living microorganisms in a meteorite that originated from outside our solar system.

The “microorganisms” were found inside the Orgueil Meteorite that fell in Orgueil, France on May 14, 1864. The stone has been studied well over the past century, and a half, and even hoaxed. Almost immediately the meteor was claimed to have peat-like material on and one time has a seed glued to it.

“The images we have obtained are unambiguous and easy to interpret. However, there will be many debates about it. People who have never worked in this field are the ones who argue the most.,” Aleksey Rozanoz, Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.

While many things have been said, and done to the outside of the space rock, Russians looked inside to make their claim. The astrobiologists used the JINR’s electron microscope to look inside the meteorite. Doing this procedure allowed the scientist to look past the often manipulated exterior of the rock.

“This is not a discovery, but the establishment of a solid fact that panspermia is a real phenomenon.” Russian were able to find fossilized magnetotactics inside the meteor.

They are fossils of bacteria that align along a magnetic field. The scientists also found fossils similar to coccoid, prokaryotes, acritarchs, protists, alveolates, and armored amoebae.
