Roxane Salonen and son were playing tennis at their local part when a group of chanting clowns frightened them.

Shortly after they started, the Salonen noticed a group of people watching them play from behind a fence near the court. Salonen noticed the four individuals were wearing clown masks and began moving towards her and her son. Making things far creepier, Salonen said that the clowns were chanting phrases she could not understand. The mother called the cops causing the clowns to flee the scene.

Police confirmed that Salonen has not bee the only one to have encounters with the group of clowns. Earlier in the same evening, police responded to a similar report.

“Even if it was a practical joke, right now it probably isn’t a good time to be doing that, because there’s so much worry right now in the world,” Salonen told media.
