Photographer Captures Ghostly Face In Scottland
A user on Reddit, Motorbiker1985, posted a picture to the forum after he was developing the film and noticed what could be a ghost.
The user and his wife were living in Scottland and took the picture in the autumn of 2016. Thinking they were enjoying a day out at Douglas Park, near an old cemetery in Largs, they captured a ghostly face. He used a Rolleiflex camera and shot on FOMA 400 film (standard process) and scanned it on an Epson scanner.
Motorbiker1985 wrote on his post, “Most people I know who have seen it say it is very interesting, that is why I posted it online.”
Photographers know there can be several ways to fake the photo, specifically double exposure, but Motorbiker1985 points out that this could not be because that same technique would cause the leaves on the tree to be blurry as well.
Motorbiker1985 also included the negative of the photo as proof.
The Daily Record was first to report the story.
