Milwaukee’s Riverside Theater to Host Ghost Tours, Instead of Concerts
As music and comedy tours remain off the road, due to coronavirus, the Riverside Theater will begin hosting ghost tours as time inches closer to October and Halloween.
The theater, located at 116 W. Wisconsin Ave., will attempt to capitalize on the dark history of the building.
“"Between the catastrophic fire of 1966, reoccurring floods and rumors of a sordid past, the Riverside Theater has been a source of intrigue in the paranormal world for the past 91 years,” read a press release from Pabst Theater Group.
The group, is putting together quite the entertainment show for those looking to spook themselves. The press release continues:
“The tours will be led by experienced ghost hunters and will feature eerie audio clips from past ghost hunts, spine-tingling tales of other worldly encounter and an inside look at ‘hotspots’ in the theater that aren’t normally open to the public.”
The “Riverside Theater Ghost Tour” will begin Oct. 9 to the 31, every Friday and Saturday. It will be an hourlong tour and included bar service before and after the '“show” begins. The Riverside is also hosting a “Late Night Ghost Tour” that will be conducted on Oct. 30 and 31. In this three-hour tour, starting at 11:30 PM, there will be a seance and guest will be given ghost hunting equipment including; digital voice recorders, infrared thermometers, and a spirit box.
Ghost tours are $25 and ghost hunts are $150.
