Remains of Mysterious Creature Found on Mediterranean Floor.
Recently released footage, provided by paranormal researcher Deborah Hatswell, from 2017 of a mysterious skeleton on the Mediterranean seafloor is giving scientists questions as they analyze the video.
The footage, given to Hatswell by an unnamed oil and gas industry worker in 2017, was kept in the dark until the paranormal researcher posted it to YouTube. According to her source, the discovery happened during a remote-operated diving operation surveying the floor of the Mediterranean Sea at a depth of 2,700 feet. The discovery can see first seen at the 1:40 mark in the video.
During the area examination, the remote submarine slowly searched the remains which appeared to measure around 98-feet-long; consisting of a long stretch of alleged vertebrate. The sub-claw attempts to grab a piece of the creature only to have it disintegrate right before the camera.
The first choice to the possible origins of the remains are is whales. However, Hatswell dismisses those arguments.
"This video was taken by professionals who work underwater in oceans all across the globe," she said, "they know whale bones and come across them from time to time.”
Hatswell noted that the spine of a whale has three blades that are spaced 120 degrees apart; incongruent with remains in the video.
Hatswell also said, “the dimensions of the skeleton on the video does not fit with the usual size for any sea life in the area."
“The bones could be very ancient,” Hatswell’s source told her, “they look more like they belong to a serpent of some kind.”
Ancient sea-serpent that inspired Leviathan or remains of a giant hammerhead Shark? Only time will tell.
